Diamond Island Resort’s Restaurant, Library and Bar is located in the original homestead on the property, which dates back to 1856.
Built in the year Tasmania first stood alone as a State outside the British Empire, you can feel the history from the time you walk through the door.
The walls of the bar and library are adorned with many original artworks, along with books that you can relax by the fire and read with a drink from our extensive beer, wine and spirits list, including many Award Winning Tasmanian favorites.
The restaurant dining offers a fusion of traditional Australian fare, Asian and European cuisine.
If you’ve been on a wine tour throughout the Freycinet region or Coles Bay, you are welcome to bring your discoveries to enjoy with your meal with no corkage charge.
